Cabot House Furniture is a family owned chain of luxury furniture stores located on the East Coast. As a freelance designer, I worked closely with the Marketing Director to update and maintain the Wordpress website, create and manage social media content, create emails, maintain the Google business pages, and create print ads.
Wordpress Website
I worked with the Marketing Director to redo several pages on the website including the home page. I also create several new sections and pages, including a blog and portfolio, and category pages. I also collaborated with an outside dev team in the creation of SEO optimized location landing pages for each location. In addition to frontend design such as updating seasonal and promotional banners, I also maintained the backend, updating designer information, location information, and product updates.

Creating new category pages involved sourcing high-res images from from different brand’s online repositories, designing in Wordpress, and coordinating copy with the Marketing Director.

I also created blog posts to highlight Cabot House’s interior designers - interviewing them, editing the notes into blog posts with the assistance of the marketing director, collecting and editing photos, and designing and scheduling the blog posts.

Seasonal Banners
Email Design
My role included designing, writing, and scheduling emails to a large list using Mailchimp.
Social Media
I also maintained the brand Instagram, Google Business, Facebook and LinkedIn content. This included content design, planning and posting based on the schedule set by the Marketing Director.
Full Page Print Ads
I designed several full-page print ads to be featured in Boston Interiors magazine. This included sourcing brand photography, coordinating with the magazine’s internal print team for file prep and delivery, and editing designs as needed with the Marketing Director’s feedback.
